Compounds

PBS PROTRACK

This compound contains metallic-ceramic materials that provide a higher initial bite than the Pro Race compound, with excellent control and feel, offering a friction coefficient of 0.40 to 0.48μ. This compound has been developed for sporty street use, light occasional track use, or wet conditions, as well as for sporting events where low-grip tires are used. With less bite than the Pro Race compound, it allows for easier brake control and helps prevent wheel lock-up in extreme situations. It is also quieter and produces less dust.

Operating temperature: 0–700ºC

PBS PROTRACK

This compound is made of ceramic graphite and offers good initial bite, although its best performance is achieved once it reaches its optimal operating temperature. The friction coefficient ranges from 0.36 to 0.58μ, making it a pad designed for competition use. It is currently used in various racing series with excellent results, including multiple victories across different championships.

It is also a compound chosen by many Track Day enthusiasts.

PBS PROCOMP

The ProComp compound is a semi-metallic material that offers a higher initial bite than the ProRace compound. With excellent braking power ranging from 0.55 to 0.65μ, this compound is used in the Time Attack series and is suitable for cars equipped with racing pedal boxes. The pad compression is very low, resulting in a short and consistent pedal travel.

Optimal operating temperature: 200–800ºC
